Operator and status
MandaStep is an early-stage research project operated by its founder. This page is not a law firm, government, court, or USCIS service.
What we collect
Email address, general matter type, state or region, intended federal district court (or not sure), preference confirmation time, language, consent version, signup time, optional research-contact preference, and content-free source attribution. Do not submit case numbers, addresses, narratives, or documents.
Use and retention
We use the information for waitlist, consented research contact, and aggregate analysis of location and court demand to plan future support. Active records expire 12 months after signup or renewal. A removal request stops future contact and deletes the active record immediately through the management link.
Analytics
Aggregate events may record page version, language, device class, session ID, and allowlisted UTM values. They do not include email, form answers, full IP address, free text, or case data. To limit abusive requests, the server derives temporary keyed hashes from connection IP addresses and stores request counts. Buckets expire within two hours and are removed on subsequent requests.
